Hostel Murasaki is a smart hostel built in a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house. It was built in 1925 (Taisho period) as the home of the Murasaki family.
It was remodeled in 1952 and operated by the Murasaki family as a traditional Japanese-style inn. It has been closed for several years for various reasons but has now been completely renovated and reopened as a smart hostel.
